Initially, my goal was to "get my foot in the door" in healthcare; I never imagined a job could support me through my education and growing career in a way that the patient transport team did. [The hands-on work] taught me how to work well with different patients in all conditions...

A friend of my mother told me about Centrastate and it being a good place to work, so I applied. I am very glad I did because it turned me into the man I am today. I had talked to one of the transporters who had told me about the radiology program at Brookdale that he applied for. We both have been radiology techs for over 12+ years and I dont think we regret one day ever choosing this path. Centrastate opened a lot of doors for me throughout the years whether it was meeting new people or gaining new opportunities towards a better career.

I've worked here at CentraState for 21 years. I needed a flexible schedule with all different shifts and being that hospitals are 24/7 this was perfect. Four years after starting at CentraState I graduated from Radiology school, quickly became a full time Cat Scan technologist and have been here ever since. I'm very grateful for the opportunities, guidance and direction this organization has given me. Without it I never would have known how rewarding it is to take care patients and work with great people with the same values.
