Responsibilities:

Provides security to the facility, employees, equipment, supplies and drugs. Controls traffic around, inside and outside of the facility with the general welfare and safety of patients and employees being the primary goal.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous security experience
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to multi-task
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Mandatory attendance in required training of “Appropriate Handling of Unruly and Dangerous Patients” and “Nonviolent Crisis Intervention” must completed within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.

Physical Demands:

Standing; Walking; Sitting; Typing; Filing; Bending; Climbing; Kneeling; Stooping; Reaching at or below waist.

Must be able to run 100 yards and lift and restrain combative patients.

Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

Must be able to restrain an individual if necessary.
