Assists in the provision of quality pharmaceutical services under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Assists the pharmacist with the preparation of medication orders for dispensing.
- Transports medications to patient care areas and picks up medication orders for return to the pharmacy.
- Maintains inventory of floor stock.
- Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Previous related experience preferred. On the job training after employment required.
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
